so, things for the past month have been hectic, and there has been a lot of change. I have started the new chapter in my life... and so far so good....
Just to officially announce it here, I have in fact move out of Washington Park. They weren't going to give me the apartment down the hall based on my income, and I just kind of gave up on trying to find another one there. Instead, I now live off of Hanover Street, in an apartment building called Cathedral Place. It's a small, one bedroom apartment- it's just a kitchen/living room, bedroom and bathroom, but it's a good size for one person. Actually, I really do love it here. I love living on my own, and i like being about a 20 minute walk from downtown Manchester.
(haha, I have peeeectures! Behold!)

The kitchen (with some dirty and some clean dishes hehe) and a shot of the fridge/front door

Living room... my "desk" is in the corner between the stove and the entertainment center... it gives me a nice view out of the window to the street.

Bathroom

The walk in pantry/cleaning closet that's off of the living room side of the apartment

My bedroom as seen from the door

Another view of my bedroom

View of my closet- I could literally fit a twin size bed in this closet!

Right side of the closet- the other side has my other bureau thing where I keep like towels and bed sheets & extra clothes

And a picture of my "roommate" it's Miss Ninja Kitty! so dubbed because she scared the crap out of me when I moved in and I couldn't find her anywhere... she hides behind my cabinets & stove
But since the chaos that was the month of July, between:
A) my car accident- I was going up for Amber's bridal shower, and at first I hydroplaned into a ditched and had to be towed out and then I was rear ended while going 60 miles an hour... the guy fell asleep behind the wheel (they estimated that he was doing about 70) I went to the hospital for minor whiplash and my poor dad had to come all the way up to Vermont to come and get me- the car was totaled beyond repair; luckily I was not in the Aveo, which was in the shop for repairs and I was in a rental from Quirk. Yeah, completely totaled. $15000 worth of damage totaled. It was impressive. (just recapping for those who haven't really talked to me and or heard about it on facebook)
B) Dealing with the police in my case concerning who stole the money from me. Probably can't go into details, but most people probably have figured out who it was. I am pressing charges, and am actually still in the process because they didn't admit to stealing all of the money from me....
and
C) Dealing with the whole moving thing- I had to deal a lot with trying to get Kassie's stuff out so that it would not cost me money out of my security deposit. I had my stuff out within two days... she took a week to get her furniture out. I was not happy... but I realized that I can definitely depend on my family and my
It was a lot to deal with within a month, especially from someone who grew up in a small town where half of this stuff just doesn't happen to people. It was a lot of growing up within one month. But now, things have settled down. I used most of my security deposit to pay off the bills that I owed (like comcast, some medical bills and stuff like that) so I have started off in a new place with a clean slate. Also, Matt and I have started talking again, which is nice. I hope that we can become friends... and who knows what the future brings. We're both kinda keeping our options open, but we both admit that we're enjoying living on our own and being selfish 23 year olds. I have given up on Eric too... he has a girlfriend-thing now and has changed a lot, so I have pretty much washed my hands of him. I actually am really not interested in anyone at the moment, which although it feels kinda weird, is really not all that bad.
so yeah, that's where my life has gone and where it is heading....It seems like it is the right path for me at the moment, so I'm just going to continue...

And I'm glad to hear that things are slowly coming together again.
